The guides we’ll be using
This will be 9 nibwidths tall total, 5 for the baseline to x-height then 2 for ascenders and descenders.
(these are different proportions but they letter x and z here is closer to what we’d recognize.)
This should be relatively obvious but there’s a good deal of variation you can have here and a great deal of decoration you can include which we’ll talk more about next class
